*Update! I am now accepting book reviews as of November 4th. Please see my latest blog post for more information. Thanks! *

Hi everyone, it's M. A. Bronson here, and I have a little announcement concerning my book reviews.

I started reviewing books on this site back in April and let me tell you I was shocked by the response. I received so many emails from authors published with indie companies and self-published authors, I was amazed, honestly. It has been such a joy helping these authors and a delight to read their books. However, in the last few months I have received more requests than I can handle.

In fact I am still working on reviews that I was requested to review as far back as May - and I apologize right now to those authors for making them wait far too long. Currently I have 11 requested book reviews that I am working on. So I've come to the conclusion that starting right now, for a limited period of time, I am not accepting books for review.

I'm sorry to anyone reading this who wanted me to review their book. When I have organized things; finished all current book reviews, finished several of my own projects and got myself back into my school rhythm (I am entering my last year of highschool, if you didn't know), I will then begin accepting book reviews again. I do not have an exact timeline in mind but I will publish a new post when that happens.

My current book reviews are listed below, please note that my reviews are not done in any special order other than the order in which I receive them.

1- The Universal Mirror by Gwen Perkins
2- Blood of the Revenant by N. R. Allen
3- Prophecy of the Most Beautiful by Diantha Jones
4- Anumal Empire: Lazarball by Darren Jacobs and David Ayres
5- A Hint of Frost by Hailey Edwards
6- Kiss of the Butterfly by James Lyon
8- Shadeland by D. L. Miles
9-  Melody of the Dark by Melissa Sasina
10- Viper's Creed by T. L. Shreffler

Rating: 5 out of 5 Stars

Genre: Young Adult / Fantasy

Series: The Cat's Eye Chronicles #1

Blurb: A noblewoman, an assassin, and a soul-stealing necklace....

Sora planned on running away from her wedding, but she never expected to be kidnapped! Dumped into a world of magical races, arcane jewelry and forgotten lore, she finds herself at the mercy of a dangerous assassin, haunted by an even darker past. She yearns for freedom, but he won’t let her go—not when her Cat’s Eye necklace is the only thing that can save his life.

But the necklace itself presents a problem. It is an ancient device from the long forgotten War of the Races, and its magic has the ability to steal souls. Can Sora learn to wield its power—or will the power wield her?

Sora's Quest (Cat's Eye, #1)

Review: Amazing! I absolutely loved this book! But I'm not sure how I will handle the wait till October for the sequel. ;) I loved following Sora's journey as she rose up to the challenges she faced and discovered she was stronger than she thought. Sora is a princess and young, though I don't think we are ever told her exact age. It was definitely refreshing that she didn't automaticly become the stereotypical rich, royal girl. Though she seems a but out of place in the 'real' world, I thought she was very noble in how she handled all of it.

Sora and her companions became friends at a very nice pace, not to fast or to slow. Crash, the sexy, mysterious assassin, just might be my favorite character as well as my new book crush. I can't wait to see what happens to him in the next book.

Sora's Quest is filled with an abundance of descriptions and detail. The fantasy elements enthrall you in the story but the characters remain interesting, original and easy to relate to. The ending was crazy! I definitely did not see it coming.

Once I started reading I could not put this book down and I think anyone who enjoys fantasy should read it!
